Now, I get why Skloso was nerfed when Charm, Dominate, Truehit, and Strongwall were removed. But losing ALL those spells seems a bit harsh to me. One of my characters used most of those spells. If just one spell was kept, I'd choose Charm. Then I could have a Magranon character for the others I use. I'm sure I'm not the only one upset about Skloso losing those spells.
If none of the spells were added back in, it would completely remove the point of the character that I planned and all the effort I put into it. What's more, to recover from this I'd have to make a third character to use the missing spells, which means more grind for that character and less usefulness.
What do you all think? Is adding one spell back too much?

Holy crap. This is all news to me. I left vyn when Skloso came out for strongwall and I’ve been slowly building my faith up. I’m close to 60 now...so strongwall is going away???

sobek Nothing is set in stone. There's no announcements, just speculations about some code that's been seen. The devs can change what god the demi-god has a template from - and there's a /transfer that everyone can use once (it works on beta just fine) that lets you swap to a different deity. Missing strongwall? Go Magnaron. Always wanted to go Vynora when you're a Fo? Go ahead.

I hope you're right about that stargrace. Was just wondering what other people thought in case it does happen. Also, as I said in the main post, i'd have to either make a third character for the missing spells (which will mean lots more grind) or change the setup of my 2nd character. Neither are very good options :/

Deep breaths, folks.
While suddenly tearing a bunch of people's gameplay is a WO classic, I'm sure that our admins know better than to bring in a new god named after the server only to nerf it into the ground at the first patch that comes our way.
DO BEAR IN MIND that since the templates changed, while I'm sure coding is already being carried out to keep Skloso playable, when the actual patch comes in there may be last minute surprises that staff's gonna have to address.... so if patch comes in and Skloso becomes more useless than a kayak in the Sahara, don't panicswitch... wait for an official reply lol.
Also, you should all use the patch to switch to Fo, for Fo is Groot.

This is not decided yet, currently I would like to see how it goes with Lib now. Changing single spells for skloso is not easy, most of the mechanics are random, so we need to take care that other deities are not screwed up and future custom deities are not affected by any changes we do.
All in all that will be a very time consuming thing to do.
