So with a new influx of players joining us on Sklotopolis it might be a good time to hold another imp-along? Plus it's a good excuse to have an Easter event and get together, right? We also have not had an event (other then the slayings) since Christmas.
What's an imp-along?
It's basically where the more experienced players of the server will improve tools, armour & weapons of newer players free of charge! At the same time we will have sermon's going for priests every thirty minutes along with the chance to just hang out play some games and take part in a few competitions.
All you have to do is put your name on your items and drop them in the correct places and workstations around the castle. If you are unsure the co-ordinators online wil be able to help you. Your tools must have your name on. Your tools must also be improvable. This means if you are new you will need to make new tools (regardless of the quality) and drop them in the workstations/forges and not your starter tools.
How can I help?
We will need some experienced players to come down and help out with the imping as co-ordinators and volunteers. We will also need resources for imping or donations for prizes for competitions. On the day we will also need players willing to help with odd little jobs like keeping the forges lit, filling up the water barrels and making the meals or even helping new players find things around the castle.
So when and where is this?
It will be at Castle Dour (which is at Newtown) over the Easter weekend from Saturday right through to Easter Monday! woubuc.github.io/wu-map/#1034_782.
There are plenty of beds available at Castle Dour which you may use for free along with cart/wagon parking. There are also ovens and food provided and people who will make meals throughout the event.

Melketh - host, blacksmithing, carpentry, shieldsmithing & platesmithing.
Maratdesade - blacksmithing & weaponsmithing.
Emass - blacksmithing, weaponsmithing, shieldsmithing, vyn enchanting.
Gatwick - religion co-ordinator & fo enchanting.
Thalos - blacksmithing, weaponsmithing, chainsmithing, platesmithing.
Engineer - Chief responsibility for dorathy support tickets and 1st lightning conductor.
Xloey - annoying.

Contests & Prizes
Main raffle - Just turning up to the event will allow you to be entered into the raffle. Alts are not included in this and the draw will be Monday night at the end of the three days. Prizes are still to be confirmed but will likely be the best.
Daily Trivia - Random questions throughout the day. Fastest to answer wins a prize which is announced before the question is given. Anyone in local at the time of the trivia may take part!
Archery Contest - Anyone may take part, prizes tba.
Fishing Contest - Anyone may enter, prizes for largest fish, smallest fish and highest ql fish.
Fighting Contests & Spars - Spars, duals may occur at any point. We might set up a contest, this is tbc.
Other ideas for contests are welcomed!
Other Things
Sermons - We will rotate priests so that there is a sermon every 30 minutes so that everyone gets a turn.
Imping - All imping will go up to 80ql as the highest. If you would like higher then 80ql then you will need to contact the players doing the imping directly for an extra cost for that service.
Enchanting - I am unsure yet if anyone yet will be offering their enchanting services but if they do you may put one or two items maximum in the coffin by the altars with your name and what you would like cast. We shall not be held responsible if your rare tool should acidently be shattered however!
Rite Of Spring! - We will be attempting a RoS cast from the Vynora priests that are present. A vynora priest must be 50+ faith in order to cast this spell and we need a minimum of 6 links with 50 faith. If you would like to be involved in this cast please post in this thread and let us know. Casters involved so far include; Emass, Krazow, Smurfie.
Red Drake Hunt
So today me Melketh and Xloey found and trapped the Red Dragon Hatchling! We have decided to hold the slaying event for this during the imp-along on the saturday. We will leave castle dour at 8pm GMT. The meeting place will be at Castle Dour and we will all convoy up together to the slaying site and then convoy back. Anyone and everyone is welcome to join the dragon hunt even if you have no experience in fighting or no clue! You will need to bring a tent. If you are traveling down in the convoy on a wagon you will need to jump into someone's cart. Wagon's get in the way during slaying events - but there are plenty of carts you can jump into if you do use a wagon so don't worry! If you have platearmour and huge axes this will be best for the fight. Butchering will be done by either Melketh, Miskleur or Xenon depending on who is at the event & skills. The rolls for the slaying will take place immediately after the slaying and will be done as per usual by Melketh. All pieces of drake hide must be labeled with your name and put into my cart to be entered in the roll raffle for the dragon loot. The drake sets will be created by myself and will be finished and ready for the winners to take home by the end of the imp-along.
Main Raffle
Everyone who attends or donates items for the imp-along will automatically entered in the main Easter imp-along raffle. This means that everyone who takes part whether you are brand new or a veteren is entered in the prize draw. The rolls for this will take place right at the very end of the imp-along on Monday night.
1st Prize: Partial Black Drake Armour Set 80+ql & Greathelm 80ql (missing boots).
2nd Prize: Rare Large Cart.
3rd Prize: Rare Oven 90ql.
4th Prize: Toolbelt 90ql.
