I would like to build a bridge through the lake as shown on the picture. (I'll also provide a connection to the highway system.)
East Side: 3100x2011 + 3100x2012 West Side: 3050x0211 + 3050x3012

I seem to have issues with this project.
I am living next to your project and find it odd there was no proper communications. Yes, you once mentioned you were interested in building a bridge. I then informed you of my plans being formed for some areas there. I also asked you to contact the other players you would affect in this area to get a proper planning. You ignored my messages.
I then come home today, to find you already have made your highway along my perimeter. Making an odd turn halfway to then run directly through the area I had told you I was going to work at. When I contacted you about this, you said "it's just a road", planted catseyes, and left. Leaving a very bumpy and uneven road and a very confused player. More questions were asked, but again no answers were given.
At the bridge, you are filling up the narrowest part of the lake reducing it's width by 25%, and then building an additional island in the middle. Ok, you posted in this thread about building a bridge. I don't see any mentioning of the massive dam or the island. Communication would again have been very welcome. It's possible for a single bridge to span the lake there without any need of dams and islands. I am worried about how much space there will actually be left to navigate through in the end.
I am also confused how you are going to connect it to a proper highway on the east-side, as there's a lot of deeds there and players living there also appear to not know of any plans. Are you going to just slalom through the perimeters and have them wake up to a highway in their towns?
Your project might be with best intentions, but the execution and communication is severely lacking.
edit: Atm, it's not even clear to me WHY you want to build a bridge there.

I also have some concerns about this project. It seems like the connecting highway is going to go through my perimeter and will end up having 2 parallel roads/highways a couple of tiles apart. I would appreciate at the least having a discussion regarding how that is going to be laid out. I am also disappointed because I think it was last night I said hello to Mikenov in local and he said hello back but didn't mention a construction project on my doorstep. I wouldn't have even known what was happening except Vitez told me about it and this post when I logged on today. I was just trying to figure out why someone was chopping trees and packing dirt in my perimeter for no apparent reason.

is it not allowed to build roads over perimeters? I don't know Valdigo, where is your deed? EDIT: ok, I see Veldigo's deed and sorry but my project is not even close to your deed, it has been a road there a long before you deeded there (it leads to 3 another deeds btw..) I'll talk to Vitez. EDIT2: Vitez has expanded his deed AFTER I made the highway connection (otherwise, I wouldn't be able to put the Waystone and catseyes..) I moved the road a bit to the south, that it doesn't affect Vitez' perimeter. <- Vitez' problem solved.
valdigo >>> I was just trying to figure out why someone was chopping trees and packing dirt in my perimeter for no apparent reason|It wasn't me I wans't even near your deed, my bridge is not even near Tiagana Woods... <- as I see it, there is no problem with Valdigo
Tell me please, what problem do you have -thanks. @admins, I'm still not sure about roads on perimeters (apart of Vitez and Valdigo) I will wait a confirmation from an Admin...

I had explained to you multiple times that I was going to expand. I also explained the projects I was planning. Making it a rather unpleasant surprise to find you making a turn in the highway to then go directly into those projects. You stating I don't live there, whilst you are standing next to my town, is a bit ironic, as you live a few hundred tiles away.
I am still wondering why this bridge is even needed. There are good highways north and south of the lake. How is the highway going to run exactly? There are a lot of deeds on the east side, are you going to slalom through the perimeters?
Can't the lake be crossed with 1 long bridge? Removing the need of islands and a dam that's blocking 25% of the passage. (I offered to help plan such a bridge for you, if everythign was properly arranged and ok. That offer still stands.)

vitez As I said, the road doesn't run over your perimeter and after I moved the road, there is no issue with your deed anymore. Both, the bridge and the road are many tiles away from your deed (even after you've expanded). I still need a clarify from admins: Are Highways (and/or eventually simple roads) allowed over perimiters?

I still need a clarify from admins: Are Highways (and/or eventually simple roads) allowed over perimiters?Highways over perimeters are allowed. But in general we stand for Fair Play and have a clear code of conduct. If there are issues with a project please find a solution which suites for everyone, we are all adults so I am sure you will find a great solution to this problem.

Valdigo is just my name on the Forum and an alt. Tradigo is my main character's name. I am sorry I should have clarified that in my original post. The deed I am concerned with is Tigana which is on the point on the east side where the bridge will land.

Dominikk Thank you for the clarification. The most issues are already solved (I put the highway connection a couple tiles away from Vitez' perimeter) The roads are not in their final form yet - Later I will rearrange and improve them, also move them away as far as possible from other deeds/perimeters.. valdigo I see now. I think we should meet in-game and we can talk about the road -I hope we will find a solution you will be happy with. I will try to catch you there later.

If you can get the east-side sorted with approval and agreements, I give you the following to think about:
One of my concerns is about the bridge and I offer my help with planning the bridge. Single bridge across, so no need for an island and further narrowing of the channel. This would lift most of my concerns.
I then also offer to help with the improving of the west-highway, as part of it is connecting to my own proposed project.

vitez There are already "approval and agreements"... What do you want from me? Stop spamming my project and this thread! It is ridiculous at some point, stop please... Your issue has been solved already, I moved the road far away from your deed, No need to care about the East-side. I don't need your help, thank you.

"Your issue has been solved already, I moved the road far away from your deed,"
I told you multiple times, you were running your road into my project area. I explained to you that I was going to work on the highway at that location. You moved your road from one side of my project, to the other.
But it's still connecting to the highway that's part of my project, so your project still affects me. So no, it has not been solved.
That connection makes things more complicated for my project. That is why I was asking for communication. To prevent these complications.
Edit: I'll try to finish my project as soon as possible, so that you can then adjust the height of your highway.

Mike, I missed you today I think. I should be on tomorrow and over the weekend also. I am sure we can figure out the best course for the road.
