It seems there have been significant changes to farming, it only has the seed stage and finished stage. This way the seeds are quickly grown, but the yield is minimal, as you can only farm it 2 times. I really don't enjoy this, not only because the lower yield but also because i feel farming is an integral part of the wurm experience. Can we please change it back to all stages?

I too would prefer the normal stages. If it's just taking too long, why not set the growth modifier to 0.50 or 0.25 (30m and 15m respectively).

So, I was thinking about it and I think I came up with a neat way to handle the crop stuff. - Set the Growth Modifier low (<30m)
- During the growth check, only guarantee a stage increase if the tile has been farmed
- If the tile has not been farmed, there should be a 10-20% chance to increase stage.

i dont think this will solve the problem. the problem is, that the server goes from seed to ripe in a certain amount of time, but the player does not see the different stages. i would have ample of time, if i did see the untended stage but i cannot. i can stand right next to field for 20 mins and boom ripe or i can sow, walk away , come back boom ripe.... extending periods of time between growth stages does not seem to fix the problem, that i am unable to see them cause the server does not update accordingle.

i have another concern: it is the skill gain for body characteristics. they increase very slowly... i run into the problem that alot of the strenght gain skills are close to 50 and my strength isn't even at 21. i am unable to load anything into my cart cause i need 23 body strenght for that. by time i hit 23 bs most of skills are going to be most likely over 70. maybe you could consider giving everyone 23 body strenght since this is a huge back draw

I've brought that up several times, I honestly believe it to be a critical game breaking issue, and is one of the reasons I'm not mining/wcing on my main character until it's fixed.

We will take a look at this, today. 23 as starter sounds fine to me, Most likly we will just add +3 to all chars and not erase it with 23. Keep grinding guys.

The issue is that the characteristic gain is so far behind skill gain that you could level all skills to 99 and you probably wont have over 30-35 in any one characteristic (excepting maybe mind logic, everything raises that)
*EDIT* I, and probably several others, consider this a huge game breaking issue. If it isn't addressed soon, there isn't really any point is skilling up, since you'll never have the attributes to match.

In WU it's apparently possible to link up the server with another server, so people can sail in between. Can we please link our server up with the most populous one, if they agree as well. We might get some overflow settlers from their side, and we could trade with them.

That is not how this works. The "servers" in wurm are only other maps which you can connet on the same real server.

Be fun that every 20 you get 1 more tamed creature. Maybe like below? Taming
| Amount tamed | 20 | 2 | 40 | 3 | 60 | 4 | 80 | 5 |
Also remove the Negatives that are placed on Tamed creature? Tamed creatures are nerfed in stats and Combat Rating i believe. Could also maybe make tamed creatures Stronger/More Hp
