My wife and I have seen constant lag issues in the past few weeks. People have suggested it is our computers, our internet, or distance from the server. So been monitoring our connection and such. Running about 100ms (not horrible) ping between here and Europe servers 50mb upload/download speed average. I am running fiber internet and normally can run 5 accounts on my computer before getting choppy. But with these issues I cant even run one without frustration due to the amount of lag.
This varies day to day but we have seen this large amount of lag to the point that it makes us not want to continue. Can we please look into what is going on server side? Ive seen days that it takes over a minute for the menu to populate so i can drink water or pick up an item.

Your security software checking incoming data to your wurm client maybe. So it checks every bit coming from server. Try put wurmlauncher.exe in exception list of your security program. It could help. Had same issue

After reviewing your problem we can say that there are no problems on the server side, as far as we can see. Looking from Austria to Germany is a somewhat limited view. Please follow this guide using pingplotter and post your results below: Target of pingplotter: 78.46.194.97wiki.hetzner.de/index.php/Pingplotter/en

Attached is the image and list from running the plotter. Did you have serious lag issues at that time?
