Not is the same walking 1 minute with armor or 1 minute naked... Pirates were very lightly armored. Heavy armor was a sure fire way to drown.

First off a great event I got to travel areas that I had not been to before. - Teleport: you should not be able to teleport during such events, takes the element of travel out of the hunt.
- First clue was not that hard to find tbh. (when you where told what to look for i.e what the item was) This could have been written into the text somehow in a poetic way

- The last stop was hard to find as the map had several indications where it might be. I did not find it, went to all the wrong spots

- To next event might make it a more local event so you not have to travel that far. not all have 50 km/h flame tailing carts
- Genesis is a lag infested monster might want to chose a different location next time (I blame bad Wurm coding)

Thank you Keran. Can I just say that I agree with all your points. Genesis lag is real and I should've used a different place. Also should've made the clue more obvious there. I did not think of teleporting from Genesis to haven which is like a 1 minute walk to concrete jungle. We have clever people here ! I've learned a lot from this and I've decided we will have a part 2 which will have more clues and more places to travel. The clues won't be that difficult this time so no one should spend 2-3 hours on it. There will be more rewards along the way. It will probably happen after servers link up as I need time to write the story and have my partner in crime (Elfin) edit it for me. =D

Happy to help. I always have loved a good story. Set the graveyard to disband - will be history in 1 hour.

The hunt is over so here is a recap of the clues and their locations: Original post clue took you to Genesis. The clue was written on a large sign behind this Wardrobe in the Tailoring house. This clue should have led you to Concrete Jungle for a two part search. The first clue was inside the colossus here. You had to find your way inside the castle which meant you had to climb around the back of the castle and into the trash bin room which had a hidden door behind this tapestry and on the other side the door was hidden by the bookshelves. After a mind numbing search you should have found the clue inside the dark mine behind this forge by the well. "In the shadow of a dark spire" is reference to "the black tower" (My deed), where you should have found the clue shown here inside the "Chamber of Fallen" which is a shrine I built there. That was the final clue. It said they buried their friend in the foothills of the mountains west of here (the shrine). This last part was difficult but the cemetery you were looking for was found here: In the end there was a grave to be opened which held our fallen pirate's (Rowan 'Shifty' Tyde) coffin, a final distribution box for all players, and the grand prize which was the King's Stolen Alcohol: 10 Full barrels of whisky, rum, vodka, moonshine and gin. Congrats to Bonez and Sammysue who claimed the treasure and to the several others that made it to the end after them. Thanks for participating. Part 2 of this story is coming soon (improved version). And the stories are all linked together so keep that in mind =D

Many thanks to Tomservo and Elfin for the very creative story and great adventure that went along with it! The first clue took us a LOOOOONG while to find. After that the rest pretty much fell into place. We have relocated the kings alcohol to a wine barrel rack at the Ocean View Inn. Drinks on the house for any travelers that are passing through and free lodging to sleep it off after (bc driving drunk is bad )
