So, we have a Server Features list already that gives the general idea on the server. But still a lot of questions arise that players aren't entirely sure on. I'd like to compile a list to help players with some of the questions I see being repeatedly asked.
if you have any questions related to the server or how things work for Sklotopolis, feel free to post below. if it seems to be a general question that a lot of people will be wondering, i'll add it into this list. going to start small, as right now i'm a bit busy. i'll edit this later and pretty things up a bit.
Is there a map? - Yes! i.imgur.com/xp3jLcx.jpg?1 We also have a live map (updates every twenty minutes) here - woubuc.github.io/wu-map/
What priest can I become? - Currently we have Vynora, Magranon, and Fo available. To become a follower, you'll have to visit the White light altar or be converted by a priest.
The White Light (otherwise known as WL) is located on the island in the center part of the northern map.
What are the current farming timers? - Currently, they're between 8-10 hours, (They're suppose to be longer, This will be a upcoming discussion likely and subject to change!)
There are a few ways to earn silver besides trading other players or selling to a token/trader. Those are building highways - (1 silver per 20 tiles). and building Guard Towers (5s per tower) You can also get coins from building tunnels - (1 silver per 15 tiles); you also get around 1 copper for every killed animal
Currently flowers aren't spawning properly on the server. there is a BSB in the starting town you can grab a few from. These are required to make PoL (Path of Love) meditation tiles to advance PoL. (if anyone can provide exactly where, I'll edit this part!)
Max Meditations and Prayers a day? Currently the max a day for both is 10.
First Deed? It's free! - Your deed is free up to 4s. This included the spirit guard hiring price (so you can have your deed 2s in size, and 2s for templar) or up to 4s just in size. (Hint: I did 9 east 9 west 10 north 10 south. I got 3s 99c for size! Perfect fit!) NO upkeep for the deeds. (Forage/botanize if there is coins in the coffers! you'll easily get that pretty fast)
Tree growing rates? - I don't have a exact amount to give you, but yes they are sped up a bit at the moment.
Combat rating? (Fighting) Combat rating is WU's Default of 3, WO's defaul is 1. So compared to WO, you will have a higher combat rating.
You can load at 19 body strength! No need to level your Body strength to load. You can as soon as you begin.
A little combat tip: This can be done without a horse or cart ect, however, takes a lot more practice. So for "safety first" I rec you have either or first. - from the very start you can kill basically any mob, if you know what your doing. With the combat rating being modified on WU, you can easily kill anything....given you know what your doing. if you NEED to kill something, what you need to do, is go in, get as many hits as you can, and once you hit 50-35% health, "Back out" of the fight, get far away from the mob and heal with Cotton / Healing covers (cotton is much better for this tactic) Once healed mostly, Re-engage before the mob can naturally regain, and kill it (or repeat if needed)
