Can anyone perhaps post a guide to Caza, for those completely new to the server: not too much detail as to spoil the fun, but a few tips on how to prepare for and hopefully survive over there? Here's a couple of tips: - Bring a tent. This should be a no-brainer. If you die without one the only place to respawn is in the north west of the server. - Bring the best weapons and armor you can get your hands on. If you can barely take trolls on Liberty or Novus you're going to have a bad time without some quality equipment. - Many people have created a "base camp" on various spots. While this isn't required I would recommend it. Usually this is a building or a fenced in area. This can be a safe spot to stash loot or go AFK if you need to. I would bring building mats with you to build this. Remember that there are no deeds here and fences and buildings will decay. I have more tips I'd like to write but I have to clock in to work

■ Do not visit the desert at 500/1000 unless youre looking for suicide. ■ ■ Nogumps are by far the most annoying mobs around, they spot you from half cliprange, are fast, do crush your armor and the outcome is noth wort it. ■ ■ Nogumps are best killed by a shortbow on a cart. Drive in circles around them and shoot the crap out of them. Drive Forward and look backward, needs a bit of practice. ■ ■ Rift caster are bugged and do not give you a bounty. ■ ■ Rift ogres can not be lifetapped with fast/weak weapons, you do need a largemaul/hugeaxe with LT for them or a very high shieldskill with FB on weapon. ■ ■ If youre lacking good fighting skills, shoot down riftogres/riftbeats/etc with a longbow from save distance. ■ ■ You can not outrun a champion rift ogre, do never aggro them unless youre a badass. ■ ■ Spiriteagles/Spiritdrakes do chase you around half the map, are very tough but they lack serious dps. ■ ■ Deathcrawler are best engaged with shield/1h-LT to keep poison wounds away. ■ ■ Champ hellscorps are best engaged with bows as they are supertough but slow. ■ ■ Hyennas often come in bulk, dont get overwhelmed. They do hurt but are very squishy. ■ ■ Some Champs might be modded by wreck, be carefull. ■ ■ All Valrei Mobs have a small chance to give seryll when youre butchering them. ■ ■ Use different weapons for different mobs to maximize hunting-efficiency. ■
...and most important... ■ Rift beats give by far the best silver per hour, always tell me where the camps are! ■
Greetings, Azmodeus (King of Caza)

Thanks. Nice to see that bows have some use in Sklotopolis. But I can't imagine doing this all by yourself?!? Isn't that what knarrs are for - get 12 people to go with you and watch your back!...

As a player that started going to Caza at 70fs, and hasn’t yet died there, here are a few of my notes:
- There’s no need to die at Caza unless you get remarkably unlucky - Bring an LT weapon. You are going to need to heal often. - Start at a steppe. You can see them on the server map. These areas feature mostly horses and other friendly animals. You can stretch your legs from there and get a sense of the land - Build a cart (bring mats) and hitch local wild hellhorses. Then you are moving at 33km/h, which is faster than 99% of all enemies. - Bring mats to make a tent. Find/make a very safe spot and leave it there, permanently. - No need to be a hero. Always be ready to run away. If you fight from your cart you are faster than your enemy, so just bail when things get rough. - Some things are faster than your hellies. Don’t fight those Stay clear of all nogumps and anything taller than a house unless you know what you are doing. - If you are still afraid for your life: leave a knarr by the coast. If things get very bad, and you are being chased by a 1% monster that you can’t outrun, just head to the knarr, hop on and plot course towards friendlier waters.
If you follow these guidelines, there is no need to fear Caza. Respect it, don’t fear it.

You could bring a cart. But you may not be able to bring your own hellhorses. I brought 3 HHs (at 2 separate times) and they were all being attacked by mobs. There's something about the horses being brought over that makes them a target. So I had to default to local Caza wild HHs.

Make sure the HH's you bring are unbranded, and they will not be attacked

I've been visiting Caza for about a month now, thank you everyone for the tips. From my observations: - Wild HH's with QL80 unenchanted shoes will outrun champ ogres and champ drakespirits, so bring a set with you on your first visit and you can run away from anything.
- Bring two tents; one to drop and leave at your base and the second to keep in your cart in case of emergencies (trying to get your cart back when you respawn half the server away can be frustrating).
- Stock up on some Farmer's Salve before you head over, some of the wounds inflicted by Valrei mobs cannot be healed with cotton.
