Hello Sklotopolis!
I want to make it as short as possible: Due to lifechanges (the good ones) i wont have any time to play in the future. So im gonna host an event between the 18th and 19th of august and will give away all the good stuff i own.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
...and here we go...
-> Work together to build a medieval-themed city inside of the red square on caza <-
■ Do not build fences or doors so the mobs can wander around in the city and can enter all buildings freely. ■ Every participant should create a post inside of this thread and use that post to record their progress, share their storys and entertain the people. ■ The prizes will given away to the people who did fought, built, organized and documented the most.
...the event will end sunday 8pm CET... GO!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The prices are:
As well as all my tools (ql90, woa90, coc90, some rares), my horseshoes (ql90, woa90), goldcoins, and other Stuff....

Proves my theory, it's clearly the lack of sleep talking.
Just put your account on ice, Azmo. Stash your treasure trove in ships and LMC's and see you in 6-12 months.

Anyone planning on heading over let me know / PM me. We can arrange travel plans. I can provide basic mats / food.
We should be able to knock out a simple open plan that can remain kingdom friendly after the event ends. Open dock, wild horse pens for temp storage, and maybe a good size cotton field for all those first aid needs. Should be able to fit something in that won't be a heavy load on the landscape itself.
Let's moor / tent camp off the west beach - I'll setup a small 2x3 fence as an afk safe area.

DAY 1 We seek to build New New Hope in this unforgiving land claimed by monsters from beyond our realm. Even landing ashore is a task for the ages. An hour later, covered in blood and having spent all our magical mana, we find ourselves barely making enough room to breath and start exploring the area in search for a place we might one day call home.
DAY 3
Those of us that survived the landing are now hiding in a nearby cave. The cotton and favor ran out, and we must improve our weapons before heading back out there. The caravel is now too far and there's a million of those creatures between us and the sea. We'll have to fight our way out either way. This town will be built. DAY 7 It took too long, but we eventually figured out these beasts have a weakness. We have learned to separate one or two from the heard and now we are able to fight back. Sometimes it feels like we'll never clear the area completely, but every day sees us gain a few more tiles from the darkness.
Somehow we've been able to level the tiles for our town and have begun building structures. On this day we found the proud town of New New Hope at Caza.
DAY 12 Our hard work has paid off as we begin to renew the simple joys we had almost forgotten. The trees we planted a while back begin to offer some shade. The town pub served its first meal today and we finally sat down to eat as people.
There’s still so much to do, but we have become familiar with the beasts and our town now grows steadily.
DAY 20
A change has taken over us, and as I write the final entry I realize this is hard to explain.
To survive, we first feared and fought the creatures. It was a living nightmare. But then we became stronger, accustomed to killing them by the hundreds, to having them permeate everything we do.
We no longer fear them. We feel them around us, they no longer surprise us. We learned to slay them, they no longer challenge us. We harvest them and sacrifice them as a gift to the gods who in turn make us stronger. They also provide rare metals that we use to strengthen our tools and weapons.
Somewhere along the way, these creatures stopped being an enemy and became our way of life.
The last building door came down today. We don't need doors anymore. We welcome the beasts in our town. We want them. We need them.

Above is a very rough (looking at you dock area) idea (and quickly made/not to scale) but shows the overall idea I was thinking about. We can fill the inside with some buildings/town center area. Fill the outside with fields which can be used by players passing by and maybe even add a cottage or two in the fields. It should leave an overall small footprint on Caza. Can build the fences/walls from the forest to reduce mat issues. Any feedback?

■ Do not build fences or doors so the mobs can wander around in the city and can enter all buildings freely. So I don't think you need to worry about where to get the resources from to make the fences... rules state no fences...
Not sure about the towers, as Caza doesn't really allow for the building of watchtowers... unless you mean custom ones
Other than that, find a location, stop getting eaten by the wildlife and let's get building

Wondering when the cavalry arrives . We need some hands to keep these nasty crawlers off the builders. With every dead Crawly they thin out more and more, while the city grows steadily. We sure stay healthy from all the running Soon we also have a Temple to heal us up and pray to our deity, a workshop and a tavern. I can't figure out how to upload the pictures i made and i'm not a great storyteller so i will just list a few of the things i've done. Lot's of Leveling of ground all around and mining the mine so we can get our resources. Then i made my first ever diagonal street leading from the mine to the city. TheKanickel's Tavern obviously is my construction We serve Deathcrawler meals, Eaglespirit casserole and wreck's hefeweizen beer as well as fresh water Madrush has built a very nice Townhall and i gave it a little fine touch by decorating what i could. Then i ran out of time and now we have a new and beautifull thriving city, also thanks to Vitez who was building stuff like a madman and did a great job as well as Mikenov. All in all it was very mutch fun and nice challenge

Not exactly the cavalry, but I got back from taking a nap on the boat and am continuing trying to secure the beach. Nothign says "Welcome to Caza" better than a Champion Deathcrawler Minion walking back and forth on the beach.
Arrival was interesting, with the entire shoreline crawling with monsters. The shoreline is now reasonably safe (or well, as safe as can be on what seems to be the most mob-infested corner of Caza). The wildlife stopped coming in hordes after their champion got killed.
Along the docks, a warehouse has been built for storing the valuable resources needed to build the rest of town.
We decided to thank the gods for protecting us whilst clearing the beaches... ... and a temple has now been built fo rthat purpose.
To take care of those injured, a hospital has been built on top of the temple... ... let's hope it won't be needed (much) anymore in the future.
We figured out housing was needed so everyone would have a proper roof over the head, so we started work on a number of houses. So far 6 houses have been completed and are in the process of getting furniture.
