So according to Arbi, this problem is odd in that she doesnt recognize it. She thought I should post here. I have been trying to figure out why some of my bred hell horses still get attacked by templars. All are bred on deed and to named parents (I dont have any wild hell horses what so ever left), yet some (not all) will get attacked by templars. I do mostly breed with my branded cart boys that I do bring off deed, females are on deed at all times though. Also I am pretty sure I have checked to see if it was somehow related to some parent being off deed at some point, and I found that offspring to hellhorses kept on deed at all times were also getting attacked. When the hell horse is born without immunity to templars, its not a temporary thing, but something the buggy offspring keeps (til branded - so branding does work to keep them safe - but I clearly cant even have templars on my deed where I breed them). Any clues what would be coming into play here? If it matters I am on Novus and the hell horse breeding deed is named "Meadowlark" (breeding operation centered around andistyr.github.io/wu-map/14821/#1603_941 ). Deedholder is Carus.

We suffer the same situation. Seems buggy. Anyway we just finished building an off-deed stables just to house these animals. Seems to fix a lot of issues.

Taming has an effect to change how the templars see the HH. I have heard of few players having problems and losing nice HH. I do not have templars on deed at all. Love my HH and how they are on this server. Love the non aggro once hitched.

Yes, I keep a deed just for breeding since I cant have templars on it. I never do tame (got two Fo priests). Can't quite tell the difference between the ones that get aggro, and the ones that don't.
Did anyone try killing off all their "buggy" ones to see if they would still appear in the herd? I know Iam said he bred his on deed with templars active without issues - I have contemplated that just to avoid buggy ones (and if I get buggy ones, the templars will take care of them for me I suppose).

Yep, when i lived on Novus i had templars right from the start and had no problem with breading HH's. The only time i did have a problem was if i tamed them with out branding, when they went untame they lost their Freedom Isle status and the guards would kill them.

So you think, if I hire templars, the new ones born wont have the issue? (I got enough stock to try it out I suppose)
