Trebuchet Pumpkin Battle
My idea was, to create a minigame like battleships. This idea was in my brain since the first Impalong a Concrete Jungle. Now, I had the time and help to realize a first version of it.
The first plan was, to destroy different boats/ships with trebuchets, but this idea didn't work, you can only destroy your own ships...
After a few tests, we found the perfect target, practice dolls. But the next problem didn't wait... you make only 0,9 dmg with a hit. But with more help of GM's, we can use QL1 dolls, which make the game possible. Only for your information, even though the QL is 1, you need more than one hit on each target. Our last problem was, how can you know, if a target destoied. For fix this problem, I adjust the normal battleship princple a lottle bit (see more in the rules).
At the end, this is only a minigame during the Impalong, no raffle or something, only for just for fun.
RULES:
Vehicles and animals are forbidden in the area.
Both teams have the same number of players (the best team size should be 3-4).
The trebuchet must be on the stone slabs and turning the direction is forbidden. You can change the direction by pushing and change the distance with different weight.
Not allowed to destroy the enemy trebuchet or fences, it should be a fun game so if you notice, the enemy team hits your trebuchet/fence please contact them over the local chat. If a team Hits the trebuchet/fence, please stop firing as you are shooting too far . Adjust your distance.
No taking ammo/weights before the fight starts.
Once the battle starts, it is forbidden to repair dolls or replace them.
Preparation BEFORE the fight starts:
All players stay on the ground inside the area, not at the look-out point.
Each team must place 5! practice dolls inside the sand area (it's a 8x8 sand field).
If both teams are ready choose a person to give the starting command.
How each team play is your choice.
An example for a team of 3 player:
One people in the look-out, which look if the gunner hit.
One people at the trebuchet which load it, move it and fire.
One people which take ammo from the container and bring them to the trebuchet.
How you set up your team is your choice, you can change the rles during the fight too.
Once the fight is over once one team has lost all 5 dolls.
Please clean up the area after each fight for the next one, remove weight from the trebuchet and put them into the ammo box, any undestroyed dolls can be repaired and put back in the dolls storage.
