Nuinethir makes a good point on alts, worth thinking in advance whether they count for the draw or not as they will likely get a scrap of scale by being present. Speaking of which, there was a suggestion that the drops were still bugged last time (I think Dominik said there should have been a bit more scale), we could always label (rename) our scraps of scale when donating (unless that causes offence)? Either way, have enjoyed the black drake and red dragon fights, been happy to donate my drops and looking forward to this one. Thanks and well done to everyone involved trapping it

Alts do not count for the draw, last time round they were removed from the pool before drawing began. This time will be no different

Last time there were (if i did my math right) ~10 characters that didn't throw the scale they got in the common pile. We can't really know if they were part of the draw, and there is no way to ensure that they aren't.
I think having everyone rename the pieces they throw in and then only draw from those names is a good idea.
People with multiple characters would have multiple pieces with their name (otherwise they have no incentive adding that scale to the common pile)

Thanks for considering my points.
I fully support Melketh's exclusion of alts (despite intending to bring one myself this time) because the amount of scale is fixed regardless of attendees...it is just spread out amoung attendees, so bringing 1 or 100 alts doesn't increase the amount of scale and shouldn't really mean an extra chance per alt.
Please don't forget the scale maker in the draw.

The Scale maker this time round will be Furiates of Catnip Cove, he's agreed to make the sets and will likely be attending the event himself, so he will be part of the draw.
Suits will be accessible by Mizova, Furiates and myself to hand out to the winners, who will be rolled for once the Dragon has died.

Gatwick makes a good argument. I think that everyone should put their name on their scales so we know who is who, and do a diff against all in local as well. Everyone that attends, please do not keep your scale but instead give it to Furiates (he will be making the armor sets) for the drawing. That way, everyone gets a fair shot as well as a (hopefully) complete armor set.

Thank you everyone for turning out for the slaying, it went really well and went down at the time we planned it for.
Congratulations to everyone who walked away with something this time around, don't forget, the Uniques do spawn themselves occasionally, so there will always be more chances for winning something special!
