East canal joining the southern canal of Lady of Lake completed last night. Now for the beautifying, tidying up and putting in supports, lighting, digging clay from entrance to allow large ships access to be done. First a few days off. Huge effort in mining from Arbi, Hoelkers, Mello and myself to push through.

You're very welcome, I do enjoy working on large scale projects. Though regretfully I must remove myself from any further involvement with this project. Large scale projects that take away land from the player base or results in forceful eviction/removal of deeds should not be permitted. Regardless of staff position, projects should work around/with the community much like the players have to.

As this project started, i checked the project line and only 2 deeds ( mine not included ) were included. and i talked with both deedholder to find a good solution, or in other words, we find a solution which is fair for all every time. and i planned this aware as tunnel only project so no land is impair, without the entrances, not like big canals.
I my mind, this tunnel should improve the areas of lakes in the middle of liberty, which'll have a direct connection to the ocean and thus to novus and caza.

Little project update The first part is complete (more or less), i don't the exact number, but only for this part we mined out around 700'000 rock shards and several hundred thousands of ore. big thank to all miners Atm i try to reinforce the tunnel complete, so we can plant catseyes. thanks dom to add a little feature more to the livemap. soon, highways under water should be visible on the livemap in an other color. i hope this helps a lot of people to find boat tunnel easier. Little pleasure for this, don't mix underwater highways with other ones. could be tricky if you would use "find route" and the wastonestone give you the way over a sea A few tiles on the west side of the entrance is a little sand bench, the passage for ships is marked with buoys.

Arbo and I have strongwalled the north canal wall right along this section. Took us days and now all done.

Update. I asked Snidor and he has helped me restore the highway overland - Now players, once again, have the option to travel by tunnel or the longer more scenic route overland.

Since this is currently heading straight towards Eastwood Market and we've discussed turning it go around deed for the exit. Would you mind if I go ahead and create the eastcoast exit and start working on the work around while i'm terraforming the market deed? If it is, could you confirm that it's currently 3 wide @131 Hieght 2322-2324 North-South Y axis.

i'll check the y coordinates later, sry, busy today . atm the tunnel is 6 tiles wide (3 for ships, 1 slope and 2 road), so you can choose them self, if you want direct road access or not . if not the road part will ending somewhere at cedar hills ranch. anyway, i need to talk with kharlotta later, to define the exact location through her deed. so let's talk about this later

andistyr.github.io/wu-map/14816/#2429_2327 is the progress I have made to date with help now and then. Thanks Takah and Axeshredder. So now approaching where the wurm land will dip down. I am punching the cart track through to the planned East side so that it is no longer a trap of a tunnel to nowhere for exploring players. Snidor has plans for this area so watch this space. This tunnel canal will be asset to Liberty.

Progress picked up speed and was amazing when Takah, Bern began to mine, Kyirer and Baylia also helping. Until we came across a tunnel running north to south at a height of 1300. The Silverlake tunnel is 95, the canal will be -35. Wurm max cave slope 254 - 255. (lots of unladylike words) So bridges are not a solution.
Discussed quickly with Snidor and there is possible solution. This will involve reworking the tunnel which goes North to South.
A deed has been placed over that tunnel entrance, Shadow Peak. Mayor Warden, Another deed has been placed on south end of this crossover tunnel Solitude, mayor Yuka.
Would you both pm Snidor or myself regarding a possible redo of the tunnel to allow the silverlake west to east tunnel/canal to pass, while keeping the integrity of the north south tunnel.
Neither deed covers the wurm land that the Silverlake tunnel is passing through. While both the north and south ends have been effectively closed to players by mine doors.

mining out another copper vein. If you want ores please come and check out the tunnel. MANY MANY veins. Not being familiar with PVP or anything to do with it (put off on my one attempt to explore this side of game by sheer meaness of players I met there). I almost had a heart attack when warning signs flashed up. Snidor assured me that they were just a warning of being to PVP area. I tested with an alt and could not attack her. Phew, safe to proceed. So I have posted some signs of my own to prevent any heart attacks.

Thanks to help of Bern, Takah, Kyrier and Baylia, the tunnel is marching forward. Bern is a mining machine, Baylia has been making support beams as well as mining out ore veins with Kyrier. I have been mining, laying the paving and casting strongwall along the south wall. Snidor has supplied some vein crushers. The tunnel is now approaching the Hellrazed Rift Zone area. Tip toeing past Gorwst's deed (keeping off his lawn). This tunnel is so long that it makes good sense Bern has suggested we make exits. One of these will be to the Hellrazed Rift Zone. Typical wurm that one project turns into many.
