I am curious about using macros (NON automated macros) via the Razor equipment. I have a Razor mouse, keyboard and orb weaver and I am just wanting some clarity on using their functions. Is using there functionality to fill action bars (hitting the same key till bar is full) acceptable ? It is not a mod or anything like that , it is hardware. Any feedback is appreciated....and again I know automation is totally forbidden and i agree with that.

Filling the action bar is ok as long as there is no delay included.

As long as you're not doing any AFK macroing it's fine, correct?
Like using keyboard macros to queue several actions is allowed? Such as improve + repair
Or for example doing Examine + Smile in 1 action with a recorded delay in between them (useful for breeding, because that's how you add animals to the wurm assistant app)

You could get banned at any time for using such tools. If you are sitting in front of the PC while doing so the probability is just smaller to be caught, but you are not safe. For example watching a movie and not realising a macro check while the automated timers are running is a permanent ban no matter if you have been around or not. The only way to be 100% safe is don't use any automation. |

But it's not really automation though? I'm still interacting with everything myself (it's just the macro record function of the keyboard that adds the delay)
Perhaps you should make a thread in the rules section to clear that up a bit more

Pretty hard to be more specific as there are already multiple threads about this topic and there is a big paragraph in the Wurm Online rules which also apply to this server. |
