xmas will be soon and for the majority the winter is coming too. as a result of the worldwide corvid-19 pandemic, a lot people stay at home and couldn't go outside etc. i know, nothing will replace real snow, but what do you think about a big snowball battle in wu? are there interested people? atm, nothing is planed, just a little overview, whether the interest is there or not. a few details what's my idea. - predefined playground (depends on competitors and the range which logging hits) - each player have a defined number of lifes ( if a player was hit, he'll loose one life) - barriers, so player could run around or hide behind them. but as i said, it's nothing planned, we could playing different types of battle too (CTF,TDM,KOTH, etc.) so please write your opinon about this idea, then i know, if we should plan something or not  |

CTF or KOTH sounds cool with a PvP twist... instead of RNGing chests for gear.... bring your own... IRON ONLY.
If that's the case, we could host an extra mini-event the same day or a day or two before to forge up some stuff for the newer folks. After the massacres are done with, there'd be a decent iron arsenal left for newbies to equip themselves with. Extra input appreciated of course.

Why not both? Heh heh heh heh. (M'bad, was underslept and read the "CTF, KOTH....." as a possible extra thing).
For snowball fight, TDM or KOTH would probably work best as with CTF, I can see someone going another 40 tiles before noticing that people are yelling "DUDE! YOU'RE HIT! STAAAAHP!" =P

^^ sure, i think, this will be holidays which never forget. no family party each day, etc. so why not playing WU on sklo  . for the snowball battles, i want anyway create a little mod to register hits etc. if there are too many people, you don't have a chance to handle them fast enough by read the log self. and in know, it was mit idea with KOTH, but for this mode i've atm no idea how to implement. but i'm sure, there are enough people with have ideas too. one idea is each team has an area. and one cart which need to be palced inside our own area. the teams get point for the time, which the cart is inside their own zone etc. CTF need a little adjustment too. an idea is to replace the flag with something heavy. so the other team has the chance to kill him on the way back. or just one flag and you would need to push them to your "base". for the snowballfight i though more about a simple battle royal system, and each player has a number of lifes. but sure, we could make TDM there too. but atm the feedback is a little bit low. such events are more funny with a lot of people and not just 3vs3 or 4vs4 etc. |
