Autumn Fair Cook Out
(cooking contest)
This is another opportunity to get your recipe ideas in game! The rules will be similar to past Cooking Contests. We are looking for your unique recipes to add to our Sklotopolis Cookbook. It should be a combination of ingredients that are not similar to an existing not currently being used in the game in order for it to work. It must be something that makes sense (I know that's subjective but hopefully you get the idea, not corn + sugar = PB&J Sandwich). So, start thinking about what types of foods or drinks you want to see in the game that we don't already have. Feel free to use past cooking contests submissions as examples. The winners will work with Wreck to get the ingredients to work in game as close to the original idea as possible.
What are the recipe requirements?
There is 1 requirement to your recipe ideas, and that's to include something Autumn/Fall themed into your recipe. It can be a drink, a dessert, an entree, whatever you want! As long as it makes sense and has a Fall ingredient present. Those ingredients are:
- Pumpkin
- Cinnamon
- Ginger
- Nutmeg
- Green Apple
There is a kitchen at the fair grounds for your testing purposes. Within this kitchen is an FSB labeled "Required Ingredients", for anyone trying to put something together live and needs the visual queues.
When is this?
Runs during the Autumn Festival and Fair and will all submissions will be collected the night of the closing ceremonies.
Where is this?
Autumn Festival and Fairgrounds - The Farmer's Cut building (Cooking Contest Kitchen)
How do I enter?
Write down your recipe on piece of paper with supplies included in the kitchen and insert into the bin provided. If your recipe doesn't fit on the paper, feel free to use a link to a google doc or something.
How do I win?
After all submissions are collected, we will hold a community vote for the popular recipes via the forums over the following week. The top 3 entries will be selected to be coded into Sklotopolis, with 1st place being named after the winner (i.e. Wreck's Pumpkin Pie)!
Disclaimers:
- Only serious entries are considered.
- Recipes have to make sense and include required ingredient.
- Limit 1 entry per person.
- Canvassing for votes during voting round will get you disqualified.
