So I went hunting recently, and as I killed mobs I stored the butchered corpses in my wagon inside a large crate. When i got back to my deed, I unloaded them, placed them on the ground and tried to bury them. They failed to bury, and I got no messages explaining why. I examined them, and got a response so it wasn't client or server lag. I tried moving them off deed, and same result. No matter what I do, the same result occurs, every time. The model for the items is even different. I'm worried that in storing them in the crate, I've somehow bugged them. Please help? I will store them back in my wagon for now, in case a GM needs to see them for anything and because 39 corpses is a fair amount of coin for me. Thanks.

Storing corpses in a crate breaks them, they cannot be buried and can only be disposed of by putting them into a Trash Heap. This is a known issue and I think it has been bought up on the forums before.
Advice is to collect corpses outside of crates, butcher and bury and use crates for the components.

Thanks for the response. There's still so much to learn about this game. *sigh* Oh well, live and learn.

Yeah this is a bug, we are not quite sure how to fix it yet, because it would disable storing meat to crates. So I have to think about this.

Just thinking out loud here.. is it possible to make corpses take up 0 space and 0 weight in wagons/carts? that way you wouldnt need to stick them in crates for later disposal. (just a thought)
