Dearest Sklotopians, Dewhurst's Maiden Event, the Winter Impalong, was an enormous success!  Thank you to all our volunteers, donors, and participants. It really couldn't have happened without each and every one of you! Congratulations to all our archery, fishing, and barrel bash contest winners, our raffle winners, and brave adventurers who solved a series of riddles in record time to find hidden treasure! The maze event was an especially wonderful highlight, to which we extend our most heartfelt gratitude to Dominikk! You're always welcome back to Dewhurst, the Dormitory beds are always open, and we love having visitors! We have mailed out all remaining finished items that could fit in the mailbox and there's still a huge amount of free stuff in the Free Stuff coffin! There were only two players whose remaining items could not be mailed and I have sent them private messages. Thanks again! |

I really appreciate all the time that went in to improving our gear! I still can't believe how generous you all are. I even brought a loom and forge on the off chance that someone would be willing to imp them, and it took all of 10 seconds to find volunteers. My tools now far exceed my skills, so I will be sped along toward being able to volunteer at the next impalong. Thank you, and I look forward to the next event.
PS: sorry my schedule kept me from many games/events.

I know I said it 100 times during the event to anyone and everyone I could. But once again I just wanted to say, thank you. I know that I can speak for my brother and myself when saying that we were humbled by your generosity and we had a blast! The area was extremely well laid out, everything had it's place and everything was easy to find. You really put a lot of hard work into the event and it shows. Even Amberly sitting there playing with her puppets added an element of whimsical flair to the whole thing. Additionally I want to point out that I really enjoyed the maze. I thought for sure I was going to die but amazingly I survived and made it to the end with only a few gaping wounds.
