So I have played around a bit with the forum design and got something which I think does not look that bad :> If you want to take a look at the design and try it out then you have to do the following: -go to "Profile" -"Edit Profile" -"Settings" -Then there is a point called "Forum Theme" -> You should be able to select the design "Sklotopolis_v.2"And thats it! The forum just lacks a nice banner and some small tweaking. Pls leave me some feedback (What you think about it? Do you like it? What could be improved, etc...) If you want to have the old design back then you just do the same steps like before but you select "default" instead. Special thanks to izukana for the nice bars!

There is also a "Sklotopolis_v.3" which is basically the same but with a different background image.

i tried out both of them, I ended up liking Default best but then I_R_OLDPERSON so it may be some of the younger players (ie, people under 40) like the new themes better ^_^ they were a little too 'busy" for me personally but I can see why yours are more "modern".
I tend to like "clean minimalist" styles best.

Its no problem at all! Like i said, was always just a submission didn't expect anything too come of it! As for the bar, is there any way too remove the white box around them, or is that just the way the forum layout is?

I like it, only part that is not easier on my eyes is posts with walls of text (the large marketplace ones). However, I feel there is no way to make a wall of text easier on the eyes. The only other issue I see is certain buttons Like Quote, Post quick Reply etc I can't see what they stay until I hover over them. Even in the create post Add attachment and create post are same way. Other than having to hover over the buttons to see what they do I love it

I really like v3. The background showing a unique fight on Sklo adds to the custom view for our server. The dark theme works really well on the eyes, but I agree with Amberly...walls of text on posts will be hard on the eyes because of the drastic difference in contrast. My suggestion would be to mute the post color from bright white to something a little more blended in.

ok, i made the text color darker. Is it better now? Or should it be even more? I think against the alternating lighter gray backgrounds its ok, but on the almost black backgrounded posts, its still a little much. Might just be me though. Curious what others think.

ops my bad, there were actually 2 colors in the css file. One for the text with grey background and one for the text with black background. It should be alot better now

I am having a tough time with deciphering the blue headings, it is kind of strenuous to read those. For me the blue blends in too much with the dark gray background, more contrast would be easier on the (well, errrm, MY) eyes. Making the blue a smidgeon lighter and contrasty (is that even a word?) would help this elderly and very nearsighted person out a lot.
