Good morrow sklomasons!
Today I will be covering the process of wine making. As it seems to be slightly difficult to do without wasting materials. So hopefully this guide allows you to get the most out of your wine ventures!
So lets begin, After you have Harvested during the Grape Seasons ingame and have your grapes, And after you have harvested maple syrup during the maple seasons and have your maples.
/seasons ingame to see current season.
Now you have your stuff ready. Grapes and syrup.
You should get a wine making kit like the one I use or similar:
So now that you have a kit of some type, Lets begin by combinding our grapes of .30 kgs each into bunches of 7 so they become 2.10kg of grapes each. (This is the most efficient use of juicer)
Lets begin creating! Its wise to not right click the entire stack of 2.10kg bunches because the juicer will rip through them even though it can only hold 2kgs of juice. So its wise to take your time with this part of the process or you will waste a lot of grapes.
After the juice is created, and before you make more, move it into your Juice Stock barrel. (I had an image to go with this one but Imgur is being stupid.)
After you have a decent amount of Juice saved up in your Juice Stock barrel, Move the juice into a jar so it splits away 2.00kgs into the jar.
After you have your jar filled with juice, transfer the juice into a different Wine Processing barrel, so you have room for extra wine that is created!
Now that you have your 2.00kgs of grape juice in your mostly empty Wine Processing barrel, take your maple syrup and use it on the mostly empty grape juice you have in the Wine Processing barrel!
After that move it into your Finished wine barrel from the wine processing barrel! And then your ready to drop the barrel, and use a peg on it to seal it, this will keep it from taking damage.
In order to ferment the wine, it must be inside a "Wine Barrel" Specifically made for wine. And you must use a wood scrap on it while it is on the ground.
Here is a few pics of that process:
Placing the wine into the wine barrel
After your wine is in the Wine Barrel and ready to be fermented, use a wood scrap on the barrel! Must be a regular tree wood scrap, no fruit-tree wood scraps!
And then your ready to put your barrel on a barrel rack or leave it on the ground while it ferments!
My batch is still fermenting, but after your wine has finished fermenting, it should be left sealed to age some what in order to increase its potency and flavor. The aging process takes less time when done underground in a mine, inside an underground mine house.
Good luck Sklomasons, and happy bootleggin!
UPDATE: If you have a small barrel of 15kgs of grape juice, and you use 15kgs of maple syrup on it, you will create a small barrel of 30kgs wine. Use caution when doing this method, because you can easily waste a lot of wine.
