We now have a server mod aiming to reduce headache and confusion with any pesky spreadsheets. Presenting, the Sermon Tracker!
A staple for priestpaloozas and impalongs, this new tool should help you keep your sermons going in an organized fashion.
How to use
If a tracker hasn't been created yet, see below - How to create/manage.
If one has, all you need to do is right click any altar where the sermons are taking place, and select the ‘View sermon tracker’ action. That will present you with a window like so.
The sermon list is how you view upcoming sermons. You can see who is next, when they should go, and all empty slots available.
If you are not signed up, you may also select a slot directly from the list! It will not let you select slots that you wouldn't be able to do due to your sermon cooldown.
If you need to withdraw your sermon slot, no worries. Just open the tracker again and select the withdraw button. No taksies-backsies if you lose the slot to someone else.
If the next player takes more than 5 minutes (a fair amount of time) they will be automatically skipped and removed from the list, and the next player will be called immediately.
Once you complete your sermon, the tracker will automatically remove your slot and start calling the next person in line.
If anyone sermons out of turn, don't worry. If the sermon took place less than 30 mins before the last the tracker won't be affected. If it took someone else's turn, only the player who went out of turn will be removed. The list will reset the timer and begin again from the original next player. It'll be up to the host to deal with any bad apples in the event.
How to create/manage
To get started by making your own tracker, simply right click on the primary altar you want people to use and select ‘View sermon tracker.’ (If none, just select the center-most one)
Once created, the tracker will capture and use any altars within 3 tiles of the one you selected, all of them will work the same. Please do not move altars in or out of this area afterwards, as the tracker won't care.
To manage an ongoing tracker, you must be one of three things:
The buttons are mostly self-explanatory. You can move/remove players from the list. Pause the tracker and prevent people from being skipped if the event needs to move away from the altars temporarily (slaying, etc) or toggle the ability for alts to sign up.
The delete button does as it says, and CANNOT be reversed. Trackers will also automatically delete themselves if no sermons take place in 24 hours, nor will they survive a server reboot.

If one has, all you need to do is right click any altar where the sermons are taking place, and select the ‘View sermon tracker’ action. That will present you with a window like so.
The signup button is the easiest way to quickly join in. It will automatically place you in the first slot it is able to, it will not give you a slot you couldn't sermon in due to cooldown!
If you need to withdraw your sermon slot, no worries. Just open the tracker again and select the withdraw button. No taksies-backsies if you lose the slot to someone else.
Once you are signed up, the tracker will automatically take care of notifications. After every sermon performed it will select the next player who will go (and warn if there's empty slots in front.) It will also give a 1 minute warning prior to the time, and send a sound and text notification to the player when they need to begin.
Once you complete your sermon, the tracker will automatically remove your slot and start calling the next person in line.

If a tracker doesn't exist yet in the area, you'll be presented with the option to create one, simply do so.
You're given the option to give a name to the tracker, and the option to choose whether or not people on the same steam ID (alts) can take slots simultaneously.Once created, the tracker will capture and use any altars within 3 tiles of the one you selected, all of them will work the same. To manage an ongoing tracker, you must be one of three things:
- The creator of the tracker
- The mayor of the deed the altar is on
- A GM
