Hello wonderful Sklotopolians of Sklotopolis!
The amazing player (Elfin) suggests I post this, Admins please move this thread/delete/edit if not allowed/already posted this elsewhere/wrong information.
I became a Wurm member a couple of weeks ago, I'm still a noob. I entered a random server with a random toon, however, she has not been touched since I joined Sklotopolis and I wanted to know how to remove it from the player list.
If you open the Wurm Launcher, you will see all the names of the toons you have created/played. I believe someone from CA told me you can only have 5 toons on one server (so, up to 5 toons-alts on Sklotopolis).
If you no longer play a toon/alt and wish to remove it from the list, here's how!
Open up your PC/Documents- where you would normally access your Wurm folders. This PC > C: > Program Files (x86) > Steam > Steamapps > Common > Wurm Unlimited > WurmLauncher > PlayerFiles (From here delete the names of the toons you don't wish to use anymore) CONTINUE TO > Players (delete your toon's folder)
You must delete the documents in PlayerFiles and the folders of your playername in Players to completely remove that toon as an option.
Open up Wurm, go to your list...the inactive toon should be nonexistent.
My player list only consists of two usernames now, it's much cleaner this way.
Have fun!

THANK YOU so much for this. I have spent a long time trying to figure out how to do this. Now I have done it in less than 1/2 hour. This non computer elf thanks you.

This looks like it would clear client side. The server side will most likely still hold on to the character. I I'll investigate and see if I can confirm.

Yes, this doesn't delete anything from the server.
