I enjoyed the event aswell!
There were some obvious flaws, but I'd like to adress the fact that the harvestable objects at the end ran out before everyone could mine/chop them, resulting in a few people being left out, not a major issue though since rift items aren't a complete necessity.
I was wondering what kind of timespan we could expect between rifts, between 1-4 weeks perhaps?

I loved the event. Had me shaking a few times when 4-5 were piling on me worst was when the horses got one hit by a 60 wound, I thought its the end of it but a AoE heal made him anew! THANK YOU HEALERS!!! and thank you staff for organizing a great event!

By harvestable objects, do you mean the rift plants, stones and crystals? They are supposed to stay in the rift zone for about a day and allow everyone to try harvesting each one once...

I believe the trees/nodes/plants stood there for a few minutes (10-15 ?) before disappearing. I am not sure if they vanished because of a set timer or because they had a number of actions before collapsing once the rift closed.

I will need to check the event logs if they produced anything.

All the resources had a limited amount of hits in them, I saw some vanish in front of me when someone finished harvesting while there were still other nodes available.
The nodes did drop loot if you have a succesful harvest.

After further inspection it seems that some of the reduce-weight-on-harvest code from the vanilla rift resources slipped through the cracks...
Should have it fixed before next rift.

I think rift resources should have the following:
1. 24Hr lifetime since the moment the rift closes - so player who had a DC or really had to logoff yet participated a bit will get something in return. 2. One harvest per Steam ID for each resource node (treat like a distribution chest)- to prevent alt army resource generation. 3. Only if you got a minimum of 1 participation point - This is to prevent the WHOLE server joining in after the rift is over (and suggestion 1. is active) and if you participated only half of the event due to connection issues/urgent matters.

The first two points are already implemented. Resources "open" after the rift has been closed (for 24 hours) and everyone gets one chance on each resource per SteamID (the "one chance" is also a way to compensate our veterans who spent a long time on building up the skills needed for harvesting) The participation requirement was not implemented to make it possible for players who couldn't make the rift or who don't like fighting to obtain the resources. Of course we can still implement that if more players think that's fair.
