Been working on tunnel to the mountain in central-liberty and managed to connect it to the top.
It's traversable and has slope of 10 but I'll still need to reinforce some of the walls (80% done) and floors (5% done)
There are also bunch of veins in the way preventing me from making the tunnel two wide the whole way.
Wanted to make this to make the mountain more accessible for sightseeing and maybe even new deeds. Tunnel also provides easy access to the peat near the mountain as well as Oak forest in the east for harvesting purposes.
keran (?) has done a lot of impressive works to make the views more accessible but it seems his/her work on the bridge has stalled for quite some time, so hope this alternative route helps in this regard and doesn't interfere with any of his/her plans with the bridge.
There's some really nice views showing pretty much whole northern liberty and there's wooden tower at Lokin giving nice 360 view of much of Liberty.
Area has a lot of interesting potential deed locations for those looking for mountain deeds as well as the areas near tunnel entrances.
Also if anyone wants to help out with some of the veins, you're welcome to do so.
There's plenty of iron (1 utmost) and tin as well as some copper, sandstone, silver.
