Number of road tiles proposed: ~244 This is based on the following coordinates: the bridge over the Lake Xenon Canal is at X3216, Y1327 according to the map, and the east-west road that I want to connect it to is at Y1449. Nearest settlement: Laeglond Other details: There is an abandoned deed just north of the bridge, and they built a bit of crooked highway along the shore. I'm going to take that out and make a road that actually connects to something.

The map hasn't updated yet but the whole road is there. It goes from the bridge north to my deed's perimeter (Laeglond), then cuts west downhill for a few tiles and then goes north again to the existing highway. Total number of paved squares = 258 Total length of road = 258/2 = 129 Number of 1-silver road units: 129/20 = 6.45

I'm continuing this road south from the bridge across the steppe. mizova.github.io/wu-map/#3215_1455I took 300 bricks down there, but considering that I wasted about 40 of them trying to make a diagonal bit look pretty (and it's still fugly), let's call it 260 bricks or 130 road units / 20 = 6.5 silver. Ignore the little tail that points south directly south of the bridge. That's just dirt. I changed my mind. The actual road goes west to the guard tower and then south.

My screenshot utility is borked for some reason but I just added another box of bricks to that road, headed SW and then S across the steppe. Taking wastage into account I think I used 270 bricks, which comes to 270*(1/2)*(1/20) = 6.75s. mizova.github.io/wu-map/#3131_1503

This road is finished (livemap hasn't updated yet but the road is paved and connects to the east-west highway near Silversky). The last leg was 252 bricks x 1/2 * 1/20 = 6.3 silver. There's a little bit of single-track on a cliffside in the middle but I didn't count that for payment and I'm going to fix it or make it look pretty at some point.
