Hi, I've returned about a week ago. Found a nice place to deed. The problem I am having now is that I can't find a horse. I got me some bulls and have spent hours scouring the south of Liberty on my cart to find horses, to no avail. Found a few unicorns but my taming skill it too low. People have deeded huge tracts of empty land and do not allow foraging nor taming there, which includes nearly all the grassland where horse spawn. To be honest I have found two grey horses, but they are standing just where they shouldn't, a couple of tiles away from the deed limit . I'm checking on them every day and the little teases just won't move .
How often can these horses spawn?

Wild horse spawns are rather rare. Every new character starts with two horse eggs that produce a pair of horses, so there are often horses wandering wild around the start locations because people forget to tie them up or just let them run loose. It is often possible to get a pair of basic horses if you ask nicely in Global. Of course, there are also people selling horses that have good traits bred up.

The starting area is not also deeded with the taming permission off? I might make the trip on the week-end.
Edit: and I'd gladly buy a male and female egg from the Sklotopolis store, if they were available

In Sklotopolis you do not need to tame the horses. Just activate a rope then right click the horse to lead.

In Sklotopolis you do not need to tame the horses. Just activate a rope then right click the horse to lead. Just checked, there must be a mistake somewhere, maybe it doesn't work on Liberty. I don't have the Lead option in the menu, and if I press the hotkey I get the "very bad for karma" message. Other animals like bulls, cows, rams, pigs and chicken (all that I've tried so far) can be lead without taming, but not horses. I have the screenshots if you need them.

if you cannot lead then you're likely on a deed where you don't have permissions to lead
