I was feeling very overwhelmed as September was coming to an end and in a moment of frustration I canceled the event. This was a mistake and so the Darkening is back on. The players and staff on this server are the best and I want to bring them some deadly fun. Thank you all so much for your patience!
Port Durendale was my first deed on skloo. It has always been a strange place and over the years there have been moments of darkness.
A champ troll here or horde of lava fiends there. Even the rare and deadly breaking into your mine family of gnomes.
The incursions were small at first and grew in intensity until I could no longer handle them on my own.
Which lead to the first Darkening at Durendale. With the help of the community things have remained quiet for over a year.
With the change of seasons the voices are starting to murmur again.Going into the mines is only for the brave and overall the feel of the port is growing much much dark.
So I am imploring the community to join with me on the 28th of October to see if we can put down the darkness once and for all.

I dread to think what is happening in the mine at Durendale. That shot is above ground and so spooky. Just happened to ride past yesterday - all the lovely layout and paving have gone too and now become reclaimed by vegetation it seems. What is happening Dordain?  |

On Sklotopolis we have the Resurrection buff. So we are one up on mr slaughter the world.

Aight... I'll get the chill Mongolian dude with the violin, someone get the Latvian pipers and drummers.... we can pick a past raffle winner to be burned at the sacrificial pyre.
(I have no idea how it's gonna help people die less but great way to start off an event!)
