Deeds on Caza!
We frequently have complaints about too many deeds on our islands. While we think that there is still enough open space, some players like to deed in areas without any neighbors close by, which makes Sklotopolis less interesting to them.
But we finally have a solution for this problem, Caza will be our new option for people who want to go the extra mile to be able to deed on a mostly untouched land alone.
Caza will be open for deeds with the penalty that upkeep will be enabled on Caza and there will be no free deeds, this makes sure that Caza will have enough space to deed away from neighbours permanently, and not just for the first few weeks. The space on Caza is not free, resulting in an interesting place for players who want to have a deed alone and an endgame goal for existing players. Deeds on Caza will not have any guards for now. We also want to point out that this is an experiment, so deeds on Caza might be only be available for a short timeframe, but existing deeds will of course be allowed to stay as long as they have enough upkeep, so make sure you do not wait too long if you want to have a deed over there. At the moment, we hope everything turns out good and deeds will always be available on Caza in the future.
There also is a livemap for Caza since we moved the new server hardware:

How will we continue from here?
You now have at least 2 weeks time before we open Caza for deeds, this means that in this time you should make sure to have houses built in case you want to protect some land from players deeding over it.
There will be a countdown for the time when we allow deeds to be founded on Caza in about 2 weeks.
Is it really necessary to have free deeds disabled and upkeep enabled?
Yes, there is no other way to prevent a massive landrush with land hoarding resulting in the same problems we see on the main islands. Deeds on our main islands will be free forever.
Are there any special rules for deeding on Caza?
Yes, you are not allowed to use the perimeter or the deed itself to grief, loot, or disturb any offdeed buildings / players.
You are not allowed to deed over the range of a creature spawner that spawns special creatures like epic mobs, which do not spawn naturally, without making sure that all players can access the spawned creatures, attack them and fully butcher/loot them.
