Repeat Mod
We are introducing our newest mod repeat mod. This server-side mod will be a straightforward but extremely effective QoL addition, making Sklotopolis even more player-friendly. In the future, it will be possible to repeat almost any action and more 🙂 You will not need any form of client mod, this will just work for everyone connecting to Sklotopolis. It will be released in the upcoming week.
It is hard to describe the functionality using words, so let me switch to some pictures, I am sure everyone will understand how it works with the help of some explanatory images.
I am using some example landscaping actions, but remember this will work for almost every action in the game.
Currently, Sklo custom actions, some nonrelevant actions, building, and creating are not supported.
It will remember the last action you did on a tile (tree) == Cut Down with hatchet. And it remembers the last action you did on an item (felled tree) == Chop Up with hatchet.
Then it repeats cut down on tiles and chop up on items for as long until you do something else on a tile or on an item. Remember a felled tree is an item while a tree is a tile.

You can have up to 11 actions stored for 11 different "world entities" which are:
CORNER, TILE, WOUND, ITEM, CREATURE, WALL, FENCE, FLOOR, TILE_BORDER, BRIDGE, TILE_UNDERGROUND
Per entity the action and the source item (if present) will be stored and repeated until a new action is performed on such an entity.
Use Case #1 : Digging a hole
This use case is a very simple digging operation on a tile corner. You select your favored shovel and start digging.
From now on all the time you right click a tile corner it will offer you to repeat the action with the same shovel. (until a server restart)
Use Case #2 : Repeating but you dropped your shovel
In case you dropped your shovel, the mod will automatically pick the next shovel and offer you to dig with the other shovel it has found in your inventory.
Use Case #3 : Repeating more than one action
Imagine you are flattening and digging at the same time. This mod for example offers the possibility to repeat flattening tile borders with a shovel.
And at the same time you are able to dig in tile corners with another shovel (or even the same shovel) without switching between the actions. If you have bound the repeat action to a key e.g. R you can flat and dig with this one keybind.
