So a couple of players were talking about this as an idea after several players pulled up at the last slaying with forges and were doing onsite imping. The idea is to have a trade fair! Basically it's like an imp-along but the items are not free.
We will create a little area off deed, most likely fairly close to NT as that is where most people live. We will also make a few little pens for those who are wishing to bring along lifestock/animals for trading and selling. Other then that it will be down to you as the vendors of the trade fair to bring your own supplies, goods, forge, crates etc. We will however make a few altars in the middle so the trade fair does not get littered with altars everywhere.
So what's the point of it?
Well it's a good chance for all the various traders to be in one spot. You can buy things for silver or trade for your own goods. For example I might imp someone's drake set in exchange for someone imping my weapon (just as an example). Or I may trade a black sheep in exchange for a painted horse. The trades and prices are all completely down to the vendors that will set up trade stalls at this event.
What kind of things will be there?
This depends on which players attend the trade fair but there is likely to be all kinds of items from tools, weapons, armours, tailoring, carpentry. There will be imping services and casting services. There also may be animal/creature trading... or anything else you can think of. Also a good place to bring bulk resources along to sell.
So when is it?
I have yet to set a time/date or place for this trade fair as I first want to gauge who is interested and who would like a "stall" at the trade fair and if you do what kind of goods or services you will be trading! Or if you just want to attend to browse what others bring along to the fair
Also like with any of our community events I have plans for some fun and games mixed into the fair ^^
